That’s classic!!!

 

The 2 year old was fit to be tied since she didn’t take her nap. She was a handful x2 this evening.

I gotta say the service at Brent’s was excellent. Our waitress was a black lady name Shannon, she is the type that called my wife “mom”, me “dad” and the kids “pretty girls”. She made you feel so welcome. Tonight the kids meals were free. As we were leaving my daughter asked for a milkshake and she made her one for free. At the register I told her we were getting some suckers, she said it’s kids night, they can have them.

I flat out told her “you’re an awesome waitress. It’s so rare to find good service these days, but you do a great job.” She said I treat my customers the way I would like to be treated at a restaurant. I always tip 20% or better, since the kids meals were free I gave her 40%. I hope she is there next time we go.

 

@sawmill If I get a Williston to Green River pickup I'm looking at 2,551 miles roundtrip from the yard to Faulkner, to Williston to unload, out to Green River to pickup, then back to Brandon for delivery and home. Given what I've seen so far of the countryside, if I get that trip at some point, I will definitely be buying a proper video camera and recording a large part of the trip. That's more of Wyoming than I could dream of seeing.

And what's mind-blowing, that's going to end up only being about six days of work, and if I do it right, could possibly squeeze it into five if necessary (if I get creative with the e-nanny).
