    Well the 60's thru 80's aluminum frames were popular on tractors. Starting to see them again. I think Kw, And Freightliner you can get them. Maybe few
    more. Now wilson trailers will do a aluminum subframe on trailer. I ask if they would do spring ride. Told me they had not, but would. That was only a few hundred pound but a couple grand. Didnt make sense. Spring rides fine. Bounces empty and spring pop and creek when loaded but rides good.
