Evidently this is the hotel you bring your kids to and just let them run the halls. The outside doors aren't even key carded. My mouth is probably gonna get me in trouble.

Back in Breezewood. Gonna hop up to the TA in Montgomery for tomorrow night. Nice and chilly 10 degrees here right now. (That's cold for me when you've been a Floridian for much of your adult life...) don't know how you northerners do it.

Long story warning:

I'm here at shine a truck getting my truck washed and they are beside a small mom & pop truck stop...I watch a truck flying backwards towards the service road which runs parallel to I40 on top an embankment.

It jackknifed and smashed into the trailer on the service road...a foreign guy chasing behind it on foot.
We ran up to it and here he forgot to set his brakes.

He was in a panic and couldn't speak English worth a #### so I jumped in his Freightliner to get it off the road after I switched his air lines around because his red line was broke.

That was the nastiest truck I've EVER been in and stunk so badly of body odor I'm going to get a shower!!!

Always remember YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

####### didn't even understand why his truck ended up smashed up on the road and had no idea how to fix it...

Elogs would've prevented this....oh wait.

 

How is that stuff priced? I've been using some stuff called POR-15 and it's about $45 a quart.

 

At RMS automotive in Huntington it cost me $100 gallon. Can brush it in or thin it and spray.

And it dries hard as a Rams horn!!! When your done, don't lay the brush on ANYTHING you may want to keep lol.

 

The reason I usually sleep in lineville is the bar is 17 inches south of the border and you can smoke in the bar....It's freaking cold outside....

 

Talking with a buddy of mine tonight. He runs bout 25 dump trucks and 7 lowboy. One of his trucks got popped at west Memphis scales on 40 west. His driver got 6 tickets. 1st- being off route. 2nd- no eld. 3rd- abrevating company name on log instead of writing it out. 4th- over length (after permit voided) 5th- overwight (voided permit) 6th- overlength (voided permit). He was crying bout how tenn. Routed his driver into Arkansas on 40 but Arkansas had him coming in on 55. He was crying how Arkansas screwed him. I asked did driver read permits? Did you know of the eld deadline? Guess who's fault it is? LOL

 

Had a guy come up to me and my wife at Peterbilt today asking about eld.... I'm exempt.....Well I have a 2009 but was gonna put a '99 motor in my truck but I forgot.....Do you know what the fine is if you get caught.....Get away from me NOW....
