The 53ft fixed spreads may be legal in California, but it's a whole lot more difficult not to be over on the spread on a step when loaded heavy. That will be the next issue the office jocks will have to deal with. Oh well...that's why they're paid the big bucks.

I ordered the filet mignon...petite cut and it was still 4" thick and 5-6" round. I forgot to get a pic of the appetizer tray and french onion soup that came before the salad.

Mom had the petite cut ribeye (18 oz)

I’m pretty sure in California you can tell the DOT your spread axle identifies as a closed tandem van trailer and they are required to let you go. Otherwise someone might get offended.

AFAIK they're not buying California spreads on the steps, just the flats. Either way, I'm my opinion, they're worthless as teets on a boar hog. May as well save the weight/ money and just buy 48' spreads.

Well just close them up at state line. The boy will have to pee before he gets there. Or eat, man he eats alot! lol One sleepy night I was getting on the OTP. Girl at the gate asked me "you wanna uturn and try that again"? I looked at her funny like what? I forgot a step in my procedure. Nice lady. Did a U turn, and got on. Before cameras you could do this stuff.
