If it wasn't for the fact that I have to fix the pesky leaning fence in my back yard, my weekend would be so rough I'd never change out of my PJ's. But to do fence repair I at least have to put on a pair of actual pants.

Although I just looked at the weather and it says rain, so if it rains.. Shucks. I'll have to stay cozy and drink beer all weekend.

In other news... Things are changing for me at my place of employ. In order to have a snowball's chance in hell at some future plans of mine, I need to up my paychecks, and it's just not there being "The Driver" where I'm at. I'm already at the pay cap with no room to go up more. Took a week off over the holiday and spent some time really thinking hard about what to do because I was torn.

Next week I'm starting life as "The Backup Driver", and am moving in to warehouse duties and counter sales. I've been trying to avoid it because I love truck driving, but where I work doesn't suck so I'm not looking to move on to somewhere else. Besides, most of the outfits around here who offer daycab work don't pay any better than where I'm at now.

As soon as you say “I Do”, 2nd pull. 20-40 lbs. A 3 pull ripcord will pull the 3rd one on your 1 year wedding anniversary. She will have put on 100 lbs since you started dating.

 

That's pretty difficult for me to make in the truck. I've done it but really have to want it to go to the trouble and I refuse the canned or bagged stuff. Maybe tomorrow, have the weekend to kill here in Savannah anyway.
