    Where did everyone go? Lol

We are going to have a heat wave up here in Nodak for a few days. They are talking mid 30's for highs so that will be nice for a change.

Supposed to be in the 60's around these parts in a couple days. Beats the heck out of the low single digits and howling winds we've had lately. That's cold for these parts.

Had a new lease driver gel up on the staging pad the other night north of Amarillo. Apparently he had a tank vent plugged and didn't know it. Ran one tank dry in the middle of the night. Truck died. By the time he woke up it had gelled in the suction line. It was 1 degree and windy as all get out.

Here's why I'm stuck in my ways and very particular about how things are done in my shop.

I got a phone call from the driver about the D-rings I recently put on.

"They're not in the right place, my binders hit the stand."

"That's why I handed you a piece of chalk and told you to mark exactly where you wanted them."

I guess I'm moving D-rings, and not at my expense.

I haven't done anything since last Friday. It finally warmed up enough I could have done something on the truck today but the part I needed to start with is still in the trunk of mama's car and she took it to work. Got a couple honey do's done but that's about it.

Removing vinyl is not a fun job. Even using the heat gun and plastic razor blades my hands are so sore I'm going to have hire out the nose picking for a day or two.

But the closet box is on. So progress is being made.
