Currently 7F here in Brandon, MB. Windchill is saying feels like -17F. Wind is nuts.

This is one of those days I just want to crawl back into bed and go back to sleep.

If I didn't have the e-nanny, I'd drive across the street for my Timmies instead of walking. But I get to suffer.

Odds are, if she is 45 or under, living in the US, she has never known a Man in her entire life.

I'm mad FOR you! Those road conditions are perfect. Where was that that they required chains in conditions that I would have run empty at full speed?

I spent almost 5 hours last night driving through some of the worst blowing snow conditions I've ever seen as a driver of anything. There were huge drifts on the road, sections completely covered, it was pretty slippery in spots and I still never went much slower than 40-45 mph.

I'm not trying to brag here but make a point that a lot of non-truckers don't understand. We get lots of practice in these conditions, and if we have confidence to drive in them, and know when to back out of it, then we should be left to our own devices.

That cop really burns my biscuit too. He can see the road is wet from salt action, but gets all up in your face because you aren't destroying the pavement because law says so. Urgh...

You always say that, I agree to a point. Im blessed with the Irish charm, and good old redneck ways. Most women under 45 have no clue what a man is. They are sold on stereo types and perception of what they are told to be. With the idea that there babyboomer selfish fathers are right. Every generation can say the same about the next.

I don’t know if I should agree or be offended. There are a lot of us under 45 that are every bit of not more of a man than thier fathers and grand fathers. And those that ain’t were taught to be that way from your generation. There is also a #### pile of women who are unworthy of a real man.

Or smarter and can engage in actual meaningful conversation for more than 3 seconds and is worth hanging around with long term.

Unless long term ain't your thing of course, and you are just looking at getting with 10's.

I can't stand even interacting with a dummy, man or woman, in a normal passing, casual conversation. I couldn't imagine dating one.
