On my way to “Evansville” not “Evanston”, WY. Should be ok with making it there and getting a 34 in too?

That sucks I know it sucks but at least you got no one to blame but yourself.

I hate having to yell at other people. There is also no way I’d trust a professional mechanic to fix what happened after that.

Myself I trust to learn and not slap it back together after being yelled at by the owner and getting my pay docked for a tow bill.

cool tow truck for sure but, just wish you only had to go across town though.

Just passed an international that had 2 cameras on each mirror. One looking forward one back.

Am intrigued and concerned at the same time.

Also got passed by this late 60s falcon wagon?

 

Home and off for a week or two and you know the saying about idle hands. Well I cashed in my change cans and found a "muffler shop" with 2 guys that don't speak a word of english. That's the absolute best place to go for custom work and for about $1800 less than BMW wants for a "performance" exhaust I'm treating my V-10 to some weight loss, better flow and much MUCH more obnoxious noise.

@SAR @Tug Toy thanks for the concern. I’ve got it tore down. Cam looks fine. Looks like damage is gonna be in the top end. Some of the rockers are stiff, not quite seized but close. So I’ll replace those and hope for the best.

New cam bearings, seals and gaskets should be here tomorrow. SHOULD.

At least you pay enough attention to "strange" sounds that you catch things before they become bigger problems. I'd offer to come help you wrench but there's this nurse that sent me some pictures and, well, you know, I have to at least get 2 toes wet. Well that and I'm flying out of here Sunday morning.

 

63 I think ? But I don't think that is a Falcon looking at the front quarter panel. I think that's a full size Ford. Galaxie 500 perhaps ?
