Oh the "purists" out there will carry on to the point of a fist fight that the only thing that goes on a steak is salt and pepper. As far as I'm concerned, you can put whatever you want on your steak. Hell, if you think catsup is an acceptable accompaniment then have at it. I'm also the guy that got asked to leave a restaurant because I offended the wine sommelier when I scooped ice out of my water glass and dropped it into my wine glass full of red wine. I was paying for that overpriced fermented grape juice, I'll drink it any way I want and I feel the same about my steak.

 

There’s gotta be a name for those...

Some wine sipping designer from Europe will talk me up a sidewalk about how they improve traffic flow...

Went to eat with a co worker and one of the corporate dweebs a couple months ago. Co worker pointed to a guy near us and said "That's the kid who engineered the new Phoenix interchange".

Young guy, probably mid 20's (no offense to you, young'in).

Wanted to get up, walk over and slap him in front of his date.
