You don't need a membership to get to the hot dogs at any Costco and depending on the state, most of them you don't need a membership to buy hard alcohol either.

Personally I have the executive card and the rebate every year more than pays for the membership.

 

So, I guess I’m not the only one that loves the stuff.

 

Good to know. I'd never heard of a rebate. How does that work ? They keep a record of your purchases and base the rebate on that ?

 

I've had a boat (or 10) in my life, from a little flat bottom 2 person fishin vessel up to a 2 bedroom (stateroom) 2 bath (head) with a full kitchen (galley) and no matter the size or amenities, they are just holes in the water to throw money into. It's far less expensive and far less work to just take her to one of those swanky food servin places.

If you get the black "executive" card you get a check each year for a percentage of what you purchased. I think it's something like 2% and on top of that I use my Jennifer Garner card so I get my airline miles as well. Using some of those miles Sunday morning to sit in the big seats at the front of the cabin and drink the free drinks.

 

This is the wine that gets served at communion at our church.
