We had one last night as well.

 

Briscoe, TX. Job been shut down since 7 am for wind. So I'm taking this valuable opportunity to enjoy a hot-box pizza pocket and a bottle of raspberry tea.

 

It sleets for a bit, then it snows for a bit, then it stops. It melts off, then we start over.

 

I'm stuck in Denver. 70 east has been closed since last night and 80 is closed in North Plate, NE. Parking was crazy last night. Roads are clear and got my windows down and the truck off. Nothing on the board CO, NE or KS. I'd hate to blast over to NE and not find a place to hide and 70 is closed right past the Denver airport all the way to Hays KS. I planed on just blazing out of here but I'm stuck.

 

Had to wake both these guys to go make my deliveries this morning. at least there was a note on the window? First time I've seen a 3 million dot number?

Even as cheap to inframe an old mechanical or Detroit they just ain't worth those dollars unless they are truly ready to work.

As I was leaving my wife made a good point last night. Black with the burgundy stripe, the other stripe in silver or gun metal grey would look good on a certain 379 that has proven itself. It's hard to go from what I had to what I have. I realize what I have could be as nice or nicer. Finding the motivation to put the work in it is hard for me to do, along with sitting still long enough

Maybe you could rent a Volvo from Ryder while you have someone else do the work on your truck? Lol

Escalator assembly. Pretty interesting stuff. According to the guy loading me it will all be done in China within 2 years...shame really.
