Considering it will be a TA/Petro at that point I’d rather them just put the spare on...

So I built one hot rod P30 service truck, plus did contract work on a local bread company trucks too. You guys should know that headers for a 1982-1987 k20 chevy small block slide right in. It was the shops truck, and we sponsored my buddys race car. So I used it to tow it to the track. When we needed a engine, I took it to another sponsor. Well it got out of hand. Best sounding service truck I have ever seen. P30 with headers and flowmasters and a lot of overlap in cam. I joked at the the races we carried a back up motor in it. Just under the hood. I became popular because we were the guy that not only had a Big generator, but stick welder, wire welder, plasmas cutter, hot start, alot of tools and a bolt bin!

Tools,
I have mostly Snap-on with some Proto and, a few strays. I bought most of my tools long ago when the price of Snap-on stuff was 50% more than the others not 300%. Honestly, today if I need a tool to modify or a one off Harbor Freight is the go to.
I am of the age that most of my tools were American made because of the time frame. I remember going to Harbor Freight in Reseda, Ca. their first store and buying wrenches for our machines or trying. They were 1 1/4 or so to tighten work holding clamps, the flats of the wrenches were so badly out of square the were dangerous. Fast forward 25 years and they are as good as the rest of the imports. I still like the feel of Snap-on wrenches and hard handle ratchets best, I also like my old black Snap-on screw drivers.
