My tool collection is a mutt collection.

Cornhole, Snap-Off, Koballs, Husky, Spittsberg, a few Duralol from Autonope...

In terms of quality I noticed that Gucci isn't always better. Had expensive tools fail where cheaper ones succeeded. Came a point where I decided the only time I'd buy tool truck junk is if they had something I couldn't find anywhere else.

I gave up for the night. I was trying to be a professional and went back to how I always do it. Except I'm having to use 80 below the water line. 400 then 1000....purple California....green bar.
I'll probably go over it with white or blue. Then sharkhide and a couple coats of carnauba.

Who thought it was a good idea to buy a barge?????

 

It used to be my source of income.

I mean, ruined a perfectly good hobby by turning it into a profession.

Nowadays I use it to keep a 17 year old, 320k mile F-250 in functioning shape.
