Where is everyone #5

We put a new water pump belt on the apu today and let run for a bit. Seems to be workin flawless *crosses fingers*.

But one thing Im not sure on, we were checking the heater function on it and I wasn't getting hot air in the bunk. Although the truck wasnt upto temp so the coolant wasn't hot. Im assuming to get hot air I need the coolant to be hot, correct?

 

Good god Man if you of all people are a “city slicker” what does that make me?!?!

We knew it was time to come in when the porch light was turned on.

 

Makes me miss it there.

 

Well, I guess you could say I’m a small town slicker. Lol.

I’d like to live farther from town, but my wife would have a hard time handling that when I’m gone. She’d rather have city amenities.

By the way, that pic you posted with the mountain.... very nice. I’m a little jealous.

Made it to Hat Six travel plaza. Parking lot filled with cans. Nice place. They got a bar so I’m sure I’ll be in there tomorrow watching the games?

The view for the next couple of days. been thinking of putting a heated blanket on my bed for the last couple of winters? It supposed to get down into the teens tonight, so we will give er a try? @BigCam9670 good start. I’m looking forward to the results. After you get it all shined up take it for a spin in the road salt and it will match

In my previous life I lived on the road in hotels 40 weeks a year. I can’t do it anymore. I can’t even sleep thinking of all the grossness I’ve seen in hotels?

I’m not the cleanest guy by any stretch but I like to think im not GROSS?

 

I finally got the much coveted live aboard cabin cruiser. Spent stupid money on it (any amount of money spent on a live aboard boat while residing in Kansas is "stupid" money). Took it to the lake a dozen times at most, spent money every time on nickel and dime problems but the final straw was when the local Sheriff up in Marion wrote me a big ### ticket for pulling an OD load on the highway without a permit. He had NO jurisdiction over the state park but I had to pull out on the highway for 1/4 mile from the boat ramp to the campground and that jack wad followed me in and wrote me a big ticket. I posted pictures on Craigslist 10 minutes later for a free boat. A guy called almost immediately and drove over from Kalvesta and took it home. 3 months later he calls all pissed off because the lower shower sump wasn't working. I asked him if he was serious, calling me about something not working on a boat he got free. He was, I hung up on him and a couple months later I seen it listed for sale.
