A quick lesson about the behavior of water and it's relation to it's hauling equipment.

Why not to blow water out the manhole ports in the winter time.

1. What does water do when it freezes? It expands. Say you already have a crack in your tank. Water gets in, freezes, expands, makes said crack larger.

2. Ice formation on the side / top of the tank. What if that falls off during transit? That's an insurance claim if it hits someone. And it could very easily turn into a fatality. You want that hanging over your head?

3. When unloading, if air can't get in to help the pump do its job, what happens? Have you ever taken an empty plastic bottle and sucked all the air out? Seen how it crumples in on itself?....

Below is ~$120,000 mistake, more if it screwed up the pump or silo.... Don't blow your tank over in the winter time! (You aren't going to surge if you're missing 50 gallons, for the love of God!)

 

Well had Dr. appt and we are starting to get better. Gonna smash this greasy goodness and go get some equipment fired up. Time to get back to business men. Just a good little joint in town locally.

 

At the drug testing facility. I've drank a bottle of water and Im not sure I have to pee yet. Guess I shoulda been drinking my coffee already.
