    For going 18k miles on the fuel filter? Yeah maybe.

    That truck hardly ever gets used. Oil and filter every 5k. Just never did the fuel.

    Now we just might need a poll to decide on fuel filter changes. For me it would be cheap insurance because parts and problems are very expensive these days. I am thinking moisture (condensation) over time. I’ll ask this question seriously. Why change the oil and filter at 5k and not the fuel filter? Maybe not at 5k but sometime sooner than 18k miles. Jmo. And I have turned into a cheap s.o.b. living in the deep south. When in Rome do as the Romans do. These people carry spendthrift a little too far. As a consequence of that you may have to put ratchet straps around the transmission and frame in MS and you live in GA. Then lucky individual. Get DOT’d at last scale coming out on I-20 and the man just shakes his head. True story. Btw Not me. An individual I was leased to.
