Don't be modest my freind, I seen your ride and it's a fine piece of equipment that's looking large!7-UP, wore out, snowman_w900 and 9 others Thank this.

Well they apparently no longer want what they ordered. So here I sit.
Lumber is a pain even as a company driver...1951 ford, bigguns, Hurricane69 and 3 others Thank this. -
It's amazing what ELDs have done to truck prices...sold the Rat Rod yesterday for $18500. Guy told he thought it was worth about $15K but he'd pay full asking price just because it''s a '99.

Sad to see it go? That truck did a lot of work for you.wore out, snowman_w900, 1951 ford and 8 others Thank this.

Yeah it was tough to let it go. Uncle Joe helped me with a lot of it. But he would have been the first one to tell me to sell it...can't keep it around and watch it rot just to be sentimental. At least the guy who bought it will use it...and that's what it's for...it got me started and moving up to better things, hopefully it does the same for him.OLDSKOOLERnWV, 7-UP, wore out and 12 others Thank this.

Here is what we run on our farm.
Aaladin | SC Model
We have the model 14-430 and runs on either diesel or kerosene and is 230 volt.
It appears these are sold in the northern region but just to give you an idea what we have. If your not around a electrical source you can get ones with a gas motor.wore out, snowman_w900, 1951 ford and 4 others Thank this. -
We used one of these:
Not so much about the pressure as it is the heat. Turn the burner to max and turn the flow down so you can handle the wand with 1 hand. It'll take grease off a 5th wheel no problem. No degreaser needed.OLDSKOOLERnWV, 1951 ford, Logan76 and 5 others Thank this. -
They are nice for cleaning up oily and grease spots that's for sure. If you're too close on paint it will peel it off like nothing so you got to be careful what you're doing.OLDSKOOLERnWV, snowman_w900, 1951 ford and 8 others Thank this.

The key is to keep the tip moving at a decent pace and keep it like 2+ feet away when washing the cab or hood. Never took any paint or decals off but frame paint was a different story. Worked great on that crap they used for dust control too.
