OK....I'm gonna need some advice here..... Generation gap....

The grandkids are all use to wifi TV. They don't understand commercials..... Paw patrols stopped.

How are they ever gonna watch a Super Bowl without commercials...... I'm getting to old....

 

Daughter is three, getd confused about commercials and the inability to watch paw patrol on demand at papas. I feel yet pain

 

Did a lot of bob tailing today... South Bend to Chicago empty. Dropped trailer for repairs. Picked up empty in northern Chicago, brought to same place for repairs. Finally bounced back to New Paris bobtailling to pick up a good-condition empty to go grab a load with...

Grabbed load and made a b-line up to the 80 for parking. Get stuck at a RR crossing for 30 minutes...



And... I'm off to Colorado.

 

Partner you running your butt off.....you do know a old truck and a rented trailer can make you or break you but we're all here to try to make it work for you....your working to hard...

 

I'm not a flatbedder.... My stuff they dump in the top and I roll the doors at the bottom.

Throwing straps and chains ain't my thing....I'm to old and tore up to do that type of work.

But I could if that's what I needed to feed my family. You do what you need to do.

I know a few people round here......one of them was pulling a friend of mine's hopper...hadn't paid the rent on it for six months. He was broke. The last few years we have reconnected with him he's had two trucks running that have done over 300k each year. Stupid money....

Up til the kid quit wrenching for hire he was the only one allowed to touch his Trucks....I'm a axxhole....this fella redefined it.....because he's been busted on his axx.

His boy has the authority that they run under. If we called him tomorrow and said Brad we need a load......we be rolling... At stupid rates.

I guess what I'm saying is life's to short to work your butt off. There's fellas out there alot smarter then me.....I do what I choose because not because it's the most profitable because that's what I enjoy doing no matter how much I xitch.

You ever heard of the six degrees of Kevin Bacon. (yeah I'm that old)....the fella that you worked with yesterday worked with a brother of a guy that now has a contract with a guy that just got the loads for the company down the street from you for stupid money....and you got his phone number.

Do you make the call....

Juat wanna do a solid year at the big blue. Hoping for more opportunities in September when I turn 23 too.

Dream would be to buy a W900 and East 53 with a tarp kit... don't think that will be happening so soon though. Gonna try to find a smaller RGN company to run for though... I know when scooter was here he seemed to like Valley. I've given them a call and they would hire me with one year at Melton. We shall see.

As far as I'm concerned. Once Melton takes me outta the 660 and puts me in one of those autos with all the extra safety brake #### on it. I'm out the door.

 

Back at the house trying to recover, they think I might have pneumonia. Anyway, figured out this week South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia can F off !

Any updates on this @snowman_w900? I was wondering how they were working for him in the snow? I am really thinking about getting a set for my truck.
