You know, I wish I knew the "science" behind water temperature but I don't. My 91 year old father NEVER drank water that wasn't "piss warm". I thought he was crazy but then I was talking with a Chinese (Eastern Medicine) doctor and he said the same thing, drink water at room temperature. Something about cold water constricting your stomach, digestive tract blah, blah, blah. So I switched to room temp water and I certainly can tell a difference. Maybe a placebo effect, maybe some science behind it but hearing it from an old Okie and from a Chinese Doctor both, well, there may actually be something to it. My ex in Washington works with a whole bunch of Asians and they all told her the same thing, water is to be drank at room temperature.........

Thats neat stuff. I would have peaked with the male clone like you mentioned. But when this idea was new, way back. All I could think of is if someone could start making replacement car parts for classic and vintage. I know they are now. Yet another boat I missed.1951 ford, Crusader66, Tug Toy and 12 others Thank this. -
Im told its why japs drink warm tea after dinner. Cold rehardings the fat you just ate, warm helps it stay more liquid and breaks down faster. However Cliff Claven has a good point on cold beer. -
I think where people get into trouble with Keto is when they go straight protein and fat with nothing else. I don't do that, I still consume plenty of carbs, but I try and make sure my "net" carbs stay below 20. Not all carbohydrates are bad, all fiber and sugars are carbohydrates but when you look at a label, there are at least two carbs listed, total and fiber/soluble fiber. You take the fiber carbs and subtract those from Total Carbs to get net carbs. You can consume almost all the fiber/soluble fiber carbs you want without the negative effects from sugar carbs. You might get other effects from too much fiber but weight gain will not be one of them.
One thing to really watch out for is "alcohol sugar". Atkins brand products are famous for using alcohol sugars to sweeten their products and those are bad, especially for diabetics as they will throw your blood sugar way out of whack. The other side effect some people get is the unpleasant "chili bowl" effect on the toilet bowl. My blood sugar (glucose) level stays almost rock solid between 100 and 120 with no medication. That's an hour after a meal, first thing in the morning, right before a meal etc, it's almost always the same. Now if I eat one of those Atkins bars that are supposedly Keto friendly, well within 30 minutes I begin to feel like #### and if I can get my finger pricked before I go #### my brains out my blood glucose will be well over 200 then another hour and I'll crash well below 80.
One other precaution is for people who have compromised kidney function, a Keto diet is not a very good idea because the kidneys may not be able to process the proteins out of your system. That's why its so important to drink plenty of water to keep the kidneys flushed.
Keto is definitely not a one size fits all diet and as with any major diet change it's something that should be discussed with a doctor before jumping in with both feet. I talked at great length with my doctor and his dietitian before going all in. They recommended some different supplements like potassium and magnesium that I needed to be taking. -
Well, I may have printed a couple AR lowers but I will neither confirm or deny that. And before people loose their minds and start going on and on about plastic and all that, whats the most popular hand gun made from today? I'll just say it, Glock... Yes, the pressures and forces from a .223 are magnitudes more than a .38, .40, .45, 9mm or 10mm but other than the buffer tube mount behind the bolt, the lower doesn't carry much of the forces anyway and if I did happen to print one or two lowers they shoot just fine, you know, in theory, because, well I may or may not have printed one or two of them in carbon fiber impregnated ABS plastic.1951 ford, peterbilt_2005, bigguns and 18 others Thank this.
