Huge mistake that many make. Hand the pilot car the permit and blindly follow. Driving blind is a bad habit.

You would benefit from a 6 foot antenna with a 20 degree tilt (skipshooter or the like) away from the body to lower your reflect. Check to make sure the bracket is grounded, that would be a big improvement.

Theres a big antenna behind the sleeper that was on here when I got it but it was giving me ant fail readings plus it was between the sleeper and headache rack. I'll put a ground on and tilt it forward and see how it looks then may try the big antenna. 20181114_185438.jpg

Not being a A-hole but that is the diet of alot of Asian's and South America and they per county weigh less than Americans? I imagined rice being good for you.

That’s an awesome antenna, a predator 10K with what looks like a 27 inch shaft. It’s not in the ideal location and that grab handle isn’t grounded due to paint behind it. That’s a great antenna for a pickup truck though. The coil needs to be above the cab. If it wasn’t too tall overall, it might work on your mount by the door.

Don’t get rid of that Predator, it’s a lifetime antenna. You can buy replacement parts, it just threads together.

Bear I was in the same boat. I had machines I'd redesigned that was pulling data out of the industry standard software, running it thru sequel server into a ab touchscreen, ran that info thru kep server talking to a omron plc with remote banks. Then sending that info down the line.

I was making the same pay as guys building carts with wheels. They wanted me to train the maintenance guys....Ahhh not happening.

I made them fire me because they would have been calling me for contract help.

I just got fed up with the stupidity and being taken advantage of. Everything I knew I learned on my own. Initiative is a past art.

The old black T6 had been running for two years and my flattop was sitting in the drive. Walked out of the factory and 4pm and climbed in the flattop at six the next morning. No regrets and never looked back. That life seems a thousand miles away...

Both those populations are also known for working in sweatshops and not having enough food to eat/therefore going hungry pretty often. Rice n beans is cheap food that feeds the masses.
    Just making mention.

Also: @1951 ford you said “meatballs (with no rice)” ........ do I take that to mean y’all was putting rice in your meatballs prior? In my family, rice only gets mixed with the chop meat for stuffed peppers or stuffed cabbage filling. Meatballs we always made pure meat, hand rolled, cooked in the sauce (my lady bakes them now.... 7 years in I still question that) with sausage and a chunk of bone in pork chop. Sofa king good.
Just an idea for the cookers amongst us.
