They had a doctor call in and warned them on the air. And they thought it was a joke.

Yes your brain can become to hydrated and will swell. Causing cranial pressure increase. You don't last long when that happens.

That whole difference in the way people from different parts of the world metabolize different foods is what I think is a lot of the "obesity", "disease", "medical/health" problem in the US. We are by far the most diverse culture anywhere in the world. The problem is evolutionarily, our bodies are not keeping up with the diversity in our lineage. So now we're eating something awesome passed down from our maternal grandmother that may be plenty healthy however the jeans we got from our paternal grandfather might not be able to properly metabolize and process that awesome recipe from maternal grandma. So, it turns into bad things like sugars, fat leading to bad things like obesity and diabetes.

For millions of years people didn't stray outside of a very small area and those that did brought diseases to the new people who in turn gave different diseases to the traveler and they both died. In the grand scheme of life and the history of life, humans have only been comingling and cross pollinating for an inch in a mile long time line.

Evolution can't change as fast as we are becoming a single world so it's left to doctors and scientists to come up with cures for what evolution can't.

Just like native American medicines that work on true native Americans, far eastern medicine that works on asians, I don't believe they have much of any benefit to the melting pot of today's Americans.

If I recall and Im no doc, I think it can cause a over hydration of red blood cells and start to affect flow. Causing capillary issue in your lungs ability to transfer oxygen to blood, Red blood cell get bigger. You basically drown in a form.

Distilled over lots of heat, filtered with and grain. That stuff has less chemical than City Tap water.
