@Zeviander My first job driving was pulling mostly a straight bore tank with hazardous. I lived in western NY at the time. Regulations and safety were very lax back then compared to now. Most of the people you deliver to are good natured unlike van or reefer operation where receivers deal with butthole truck drivers every day. There are some really good paying jobs out there. If I were to go back I would look for a private concern moving their own products. It is a clean job until you put on all your safety gear on a 90 degree day with 90% humidity. Everyone has different likes and dislikes but I consider tanker overall to be a good job. Just avoid a smooth bore tank on a wintry day while snowing or iced over roads. For even more fun fill a 6,000 gallon with 3,500 gallons of a 14 lb. poduct. Cryogenics would be good to get into. All of the above mentioned is jmo. I jumped around as things came to mind.

Sorry Stwik, been a little tied up the last few hours pulling myself around in the drifts with a haul truck. Looks like Sawmill got you taken care of.

@Lysdexis what ever you buy, let’s hope you don’t start where I did lol. Behind the sleeper of the black truck is the engine that’s in my truck now. I

Some companies are looking to streamline their fleets due to Elogs. Go to 1:40 for the prototype trailer drop. The problem arises at 1:57 because Stacy Keach is on Elogs too.

I don't know who won the bid but I might be interested if they want to flip that investment. But let's keep the price realistic. I'll need a Carfax report to check on any major damages. Miles ? Maintenance records ?

If I left the barn door open and it wandered inside freely, it's called slaughter, not poaching...sounds legal right?
