I can't imagine the emotions and trauma looking at ashes where your house once stood.

Imo that long flat Pete needs the dark color on the top of the hood and over the edge to the rivets.

I'll bet Doc was peeing himself looking at that looong not quite flat W9.

Jaundice in a newborn is not an uncommon situation.

For those rough and cracked hands buy a jar of Eucerin cream. No off brand crap. Warm some in the palm of your hands and rub it in big time. Then put on a pair of cheap cloth gardening gloves or an old pair of socks. Do this before you go to bed. Do it enough times and you will finally get relief. In the winter when the heat is on my legs turn absolutely white from dry skin. I also itch and burn every where. I coat myself with that white grease. My wife does my back. I have to keep this up until spring. Btw the jar of Eucerin will be about $12 to $13. Eucerin Original Healing lotion works well on less severe cases.

Found an Esso less than a km from the customer, heading straight there from the Innisfil Onroute. Just waiting for rush hour to die down a bit right now.

Made good time from Hearst though. This isn't my usual truck, 475 C15 but for some reason it's struggling with the hills and I'm barely 60k gross.

It's at 1.77 million km and I don't think it's been rebuilt, so that might be why. The turbos feel really tired and worn out and she shakes something fierce when pulling hard over 1500 rpm.

It's looking very likely I'll be reloading at the customer to come back, which will be another light load. My 470 C13 could have handled this load better. She pulls hard for such a little thing. She was pulling 6% grades in Wyoming at 75k gross no problem in 7th direct.

I haven't been having much luck with Peterbilt lately. They haven't been stocking the parts I need and been messing up the parts they do have. I have three boxes of brakes here that are wrong and the last one's they charged me a core charge.

They don't get things straightened out I'm gonna change dealerships. The other also has a truck down here everyday.

I can't imagine losing everything I've collected my whole life, pictures, birth certificates, all your financial stuff, clothes, favorite what ever's, and everything else. It all becomes something no one else can see, a memory. I hate to see that for them.

If I was to guess he probably didn't have insurance on the contents. He's single...His second wife took everything he had ....Even his wedding pictures from his first marriage....She was a itch!!!

He has a boy from another gal that he shares custody with and he is his life. It will be his things that will be hard to replace. He's also a IT genius and had quite a bit of computer equipment.

He has spent the last few years redoing that house. New windows, siding, roof. Pulled the basement walls straight and poured new concrete clear around that. He was in the process of redoing the tuck points in the block. Had done a bunch of work on the inside. It was probably over 4k sq ft. Huge...They had completely rebuilt the front porch with new stamped concrete floor.

I haven't talked to him but I'm sure he's devistated. The house was part of the farm his dad owns.

He was my best man in my wedding.

I'm standing in the shop looking at this

I've ran four days since Christmas... Between eye problems ( somehow screwed them up again last weekend) and chasing this air problem with the truck (more parts supposed to be in tomorrow) I'm thinking I might be better off loading up the old scooter and seeing how much trouble I can get into in the Florida Keys.....

Back when I was attempting to go to college...I was sitting at the post office talking to a friend of mine when the fire trucks went by....Well let's go see where the fire is.....They went to my house.

Luckily dad got home shortly after it started and had it put out. The smoke damage was horrific and we was out of the house a couple months. But luckily we didn't loose anything of importance.

After that and dealing with the insurance company (he had changed insurance companies two weeks prior to the fire so he had no policy but had made them sign a letter saying he had insurance) he has pictures of the whole house including closets in the lock box at the bank. Everything he buys he records the serial number and scans the purchase ticket and keeps them at the bank. You are actually better off with a total loss money wise than if they put it out if you have enough coverage.

Neighbors house burnt partially .....They had to inventory the refrigerator. Is that a half bottle of ketchup or a quarter.

If you think your gonna lose it all wait a little before you make that call....It'll save you alot of headaches.
