Catalina,
I have an 87 560SEC, my favorite car. I put a 96 600 drive line in it. The old AMG cars done by franchise dealers was hit or miss, the wide body kits are pretty crude by todays standards. I did mostly performance tuning and major projects like engine swaps, supercharging, big brakes, differentials, etc. I have a little C wagon with a 55 kompressor driveline in it too.
I was going to buy a BMW 850I at one time, went to a local dealer that had a perfect 25K mile car. Took it for a test drive and the salesman commented they just did head gaskets on the car. I probed a bit more, this work was AFTER they put new heads on the car at 14K. That was my first and last urge to buy a BMW. I knew a very wealthy guy with an 850 that drove the piss out of it. He took it to Jiffy Lube for service and Pep boys for repair work, kid you not. It had well over 250K when I last saw him, he died a year or so later.
If I were looking for a late model car, give the E class a look, AMG Coupes are nice. The older SLK 55 is a blast.

I made the first two turns here fine as expected via Google Maps. Well Google Maps doesn’t have that fence/post as being a thing either. Final turn and there I am “what the frick, Stwik.”
Just happy it was all sight side
We have a couple of receivers I’ve been to already that need ya to blindside into a door. Not a fan

Walked into the office this morning and the logistics manager is gathering everyone behind the counter to make an announcement.
We had a driver unloading combine headers in Missouri yesterday that had one fall off the trailer and/or forklift and onto him. He was declared dead on scene.
Today was a rough day to say the least. I had to deliver the load another bulk guy was supposed to take down, but he got the call last night about the driver that died and they are very good friends.
The hardest part for me is that not only did I train this guy, but he was an amazing person. Very hard worker and devoted to his family. Literally got back from paternity leave, his first trip back, and he's gone. A wife and six kids from my understanding. Horrible loss. I'm still shaken up about it. Everyone at the company knew him and wouldn't have a bad thing to say about him. -

Oh, and I made it to the salt place in Rocanville, SK for the night. Too close on hours to guarantee that I'll make it here in the morning for my appointment from Moosomin. So I'll have to wait for my Timmies.

Sorry for your loss and prayers for his family. -
That's a big bag of NOPE around Minot. At least Williston looks like it's on the cusp, which means I might just get away with not freezing my nuts off on Wednesday when I'm unloading.1951 ford, cke, 4mer trucker and 14 others Thank this.
