UP 3 GRAND ?????? WTH

 

Said it was just a standard rate increase, I woulda replaced them but the other option was progressive for 200 less a year. I swore I would never go back there

 

So my stock Cobra mic finally #### the bed after a year. Picked up an Astatic, love the quality but I accidentally bought a straight-cord instead of the coil. What a pita I tell you. Gonna find some way to country-boy wrap it into the gear keeper till I can buy a new cable.

 

@SAR where in the Dakota's are you? I'm heading to Huron,SD...too far for a visit?

 

We would be about 400 miles apart, 6.5 hours. I am located 40 miles north of Minot, ND. I'm way up north and only 15 miles from the Canadian border.

 

Well crap.

I'll see where I load out of and if I get within a couple hours I'll stop by.

 

Sounds good! I can even drive also to meet up in the middle or something. I know they are talking state wide snow starting tonight into tomorrow.

 

It's snowing here now.

One more bolt and I can see if I have my air problem fixed. Had to warm my fingers so I don't drop the bolt.

 

A good weight to finish out the day. I think @wore out has been loading and driving my truck lol

 

I came out today and there was a bird laying on my fifth wheel plate. Didn't think much of it....figured a barn swallow ran into the shop.... It's not unusual.

Just got to looking at it. It's a cardinal all covered in grease. Evidently it climbed in the jaws thinking it was a good place to stay warm and then couldn't fly away and froze to death.
