Where is everyone #5

What schedule when your that big. Staffed 24/7. I liked it, fun and challenging. Better be ok with bad weather. The worse it gets the more you work, hours after the cops and plows leave the road. Very hard on body. Prepaired to run out the door even on day off. Leave parties, kids bdays, family get togethers. And very hard on the body. I made good money but not great. The last straw I was on a beach on honeymoon and having to answer calls! Started to make plans toget out.

 

Thats not as bad as pulling driveshaft on turnpike and hearing the plow coming, knowing you cant get out fast enough. The wave of slush hammers you and blows you out the otherside. We never stopped unlike some companys. We would go right thru the storm. The amount of maintenance to have equipment to work that hard would make your eyes spin. The pic I put up of the western star with a 80ton sliding rotator took 8 full hours just to grease when you know were everything was.

 

Note to self : do NOT try to get a date with any gals named Josie or Veronica.

In Modern Times it's a sign of poverty. They can't even afford a moped ? A bicycle ? A skateboard ?

 

Decided to stay hauling chemicals. The money and family time was too good to pass up. Job is getting easier with time.

 

Lonely or alone?

If you are lonely, it is because of your focus.

If you go to a party with a mission to meet someone, you won’t. If you go to the same party to act a fool and recreate, you will meet people and have a more enjoyable time. Same party with same people, and the only thing that changes is your focus.

When I was young, I was like every other guy my age, trying to be cool and tough in front of the guys, but extremely nervous about talking to a hot girl because I didn’t want her to think that I am stupid. Once you don’t give a Fup about your appearance to your rivals or whether or not that stupid girl likes you, life becomes much more enjoyable.

 

After getting drenched in slush and getting everything hooked up ready to go then you remember that stinkin lazy slob that’s been ####tin and pissin themselves for a week without a shower gets to ride in the truck with you for the next hundred miles.

 

I had seen that thread a couple hours ago. Think that guy must have a mental deficiency based on his writing. If what he said is accurate, his father is right to make him be his own man- women CAN do for themselves tho, so I ain’t terribly impressed with having them live under the fathers wing forever.

I must have a lot of the posters on ignore- half the responses I saw didn’t make a lot of sense to me.

If somebody need to ride their daddy’s Dick to get somewhere in life they’re pathetic imo.

Feminist: well I ain’t had enough coffee to write the whole answer to that one... a lot of people say they’re feminists, a lot of them are just being twats. People are people, give the people respect that earn respect. If you need a handout because of what’s between your legs or the color of your skin or the work ethic you lack- #### you. You want to complain life isn’t fair because of _________ yeah, well, life isn’t fair. Anybody that wants to make something of them self: CAN, with fortitude and ambition. “We make our own prisons” and live by the code we have for ourselves. If “somebody else” is always the reason you can’t accomplish something, you better take a long ####in hard look in the mirror at that “somebody else” because that’s the ONLY person you got to blame.

I got a brother that is the cliche of your sidewalk sissy @TripleSix. Now he wants to be a woman or who the #### knows what. Uses every moment to tell you how life isn’t fair to him. Don’t ever take responsibility for anything. “People hate me because...” we tend to get into heated arguments pretty quickly. If you act like a ####ing #######, people will treat you like one. You leave the family birthday party within 20 minutes, after having shown up an hour late, barefoot in a ####ing costume, because you “have to go take a nap” THAT is why people think you’re an #######. I don’t cut ANYBODY any slack for acting like a pompous ###. I don’t care who you are. You don’t try hard to be the best you can be: #### YOU!

Life is harder for some people than others- LIFE ISN’T FAIR. Yeh! IT’S NOT-GET OVER IT! Do what the #### YOU can do to be successful, don’t run off at the mouth crying about it all the ####in time.
You’re born/living in the USA where YOU CAN BE ANYTHING! Potential is unlimited! Little kids from the hood, with poor single mothers, living hand to mouth and fighting off every downfall that can be thought of- THOSE KIDS can and have become doctors and lawyers, judges and race car drivers. If someone is so lucky to be born and have a better start than that- don’t come ####in crying to me about how you can’t get ahead “because of someone else”. #### is pathetic.


I do what I can for our girls. That don’t mean I buy them whatever they want, that means I teach them what’s important in life. They get what they NEED, and learn to work for what they WANT. “You don’t need a man to take care of you- YOU take care of you. A partner is a big bonus. You ain’t ever gonna have a good partner if YOU ain’t ####. Good partners don’t want a partner they gotta carry like a ####ing burden.”
They’re all very pretty: but I let them know, beauty 1 isn’t forever, and 2 if that’s all you got to bring to the table, that’s all you’ll ever be good for in other peoples eyes.

A feminist is someone who want equality for a female. Notice the guys who think it unfair if a father puts his son out and blaze his own trail? They are feminists. They want the rights of a Man’s daughter. Repugnant!

Still doesn't mean it can't be done with a laptop to program the PID logic into a $20 Arduino board to control it...
The VGT has no idea whether the fuel and timing controls upstream of the exhaust manifold are controlled electronically or mechanically. It only relies on following the programmed logic via a couple simple input sensor feeds.
Just depends how simple or complex you want the electronic component's response to be...but if you remove the VG part, all you're left with is a T. And a turbo is one of the most simple mechanical components on a diesel engine. Now take that simple component and infinently control it's response rate and it's performance capabilities grow exponentially.
A switchblade makes a single turbo a two stage turbo. A VGT can close to any number of stages you desire. If you understand them well, having that kind of control makes the turbo respond for you, instead of waiting for it to respond to you.
