@stwik Don't be afraid of change, you're young and will see lots of it at a quicker rate than us older guys. While I can appreciate the "old stuff" I am blown away by how fast things have changed just in my lifetime, especially in the last 30 years, but it doesn't make them bad necessarily, just not completely refined. You buy a new vehicle and drive it for 100k+ miles and never even check the oil basically....they're that good almost across the board, try that with a 1975 (insert brand here). Same with the new KW, yes it looks different and the OEM's had their hand forced by an over-zealous EPA that prompted quick knee-jerk solutions in order for them to stay in business but since 2007 things have improved significantly already related to after-treatment systems. Take my last two motorcycles, I was looking for something that was comfortable, functional, performed like something from the 21st century and American Made....I can tell you that last part narrowed my choices to almost nothing. I ended up with a Victory Vision (RIP) ((F U Polaris)), two of them as a matter of fact. Did it look drastically different than the other choices, did I get made fun of for awhile....yes. Right up until these guys rode one or watched me disappear on some rural, twisty Missouri back road while they're dragging hard parts and down shifting in a futile attempt to keep up. You're young, don't judge something just because it isn't "old skool cool" on the outside, you just might be surprised. BTW here is my last bike, and a shot of my MO license plate just to prove I don't take little things too seriously, lol.

There saying 60mph winds!!!BigBob410, PoleCrusher, Tug Toy and 15 others Thank this. -
We go through those same high wind areas all the time with empty tankers. You'll be fine with a flat. Just don't lollygag around when you're passing someone with a van. Your truck will block the wind some and could cause them to tip, I've watched it happen. -
Maybe I’ll run 85/26 around...
After my drive through Gusting winds from Davenport to Omaha I’m kinda over this stuff...Al. Roper, BigBob410, PoleCrusher and 14 others Thank this.
