My friend had a series 60 that was rebuilt by Clark Power. They were nice enough to flash that low emission junk in there. We put a 171702 on and reprogrammed the ecm. That cow truck got great mpg and would peg 40 psi compared to stock being 26-28. It was night and day.
Which motor do you have that you programmed the vgt? -

Cummins ISX CM871.
40psi is too high for an S60, luckily they have tough pistons and heads so it'll take it, but 34-36 is optimal for the S60. -

Going to be in Youngstown mid morning since they changed my plan and had to run a short load today. Hope it holds off till I get back down here.

Mines been running 40+ psi the last 430,000 miles no issues. It’ll push 48, but I try n keep it 40 or less. My understanding is that the 171702 I have is most efficient at 37-39 psi
