Same place tonight that I was in on Tuesday. Didn't make it to Hearst last night so I couldn't make it home today. Sucks, but thems the brakes.

Not sure if I posted my reload, but it ended up being a return load to Gimli, MB which one of our city guys will deliver next week.

Mixed bag of stuff, but was a good challenge.

Another thing, since Monday, this truck has been dogging it on the hills, loaded no more than 60k gross. My little C13 could pull 75k up bigger hills and drop less gears.

Now, driving from Pass Lake, On to here in Ignace, she suddenly finds the strength to pull a darn stinking hill, and does it well. For the life of me I have no idea what happened. It was -35°C last night and only 10 degrees warmer all day today, maybe she was running garbage fuel? Maybe I finally cleaned the turbos out enough that they started working again?

I'm not complaining (much) but for the last 5 days, I've been wishing I brought the little flat top that could along for this trip, tire chains be dammed. Now I'm starting to wonder what she'll (the C13) be able to do with 100k gross.

That's a great pic. Wait till she starts crawling and blabbing then walking and talking, you'll never want to leave.

Awesome. I’m fixing to try an experiment on mine. It’s always had a rough idle. May just be a Cummins thing. But yesterday I mounted a Davco filter on the frame. When I get time I’m gonna mount a pump after the filter. But nowhere near as big a pump as you used. Little Carter 4070.

Sounds weird but the company I’m leased to did it to one of their trucks with fuel issues and it straightened it right up.

I can’t wait for that. The newborn stage seems far too fragile.
