And it's all because somebody screwed up doing something stupid more than likely so they're going to punish everybody else that's smart enough to be able to do the job without any of that crap and fix it so that it never happens again.

It's the same thing where I work. You have so much safety stuff on it gets to where it's unsafe. It's like my safety glasses, we have to have the side shields on em and it takes away your peripheral vision, I can't tell you how many times I've hit my head hard on something because I can't see it because of those stupid things, (I work in a lot of tight places).

Or you have to worry about locking down, closing, pinning, your paperwork with you, harnesses, spotters, gloves, hearing protection, and on and on, and then you have the QA guys running around writing people up because they didn't do one of these things, it's ridiculous. Our QA guys are probably the biggest most arrogant, power hungry ######## I've ever dealt with in my time in this business. Like you guys that deal with a DOT ####### that has it out for you from the git go.

Like @ShooterK2 I get it. Gotta have safety stuff to protect the stupid, but there are around 20,000 people where I work, do do is going to happen no matter what you do and unlike dollar bills,lol, they can't nor won't cull out the stupid.
