I remember reading an article years ago. Not sure when or where. They were interviewing drivers and the question was what makes a good driver? The #1 answer was "being able to handle your equipment". The drivers gave lots of examples. And I know this is like preaching to the choir. What happened to lane control? I can't count how many times people drift in my lane when passing! People drive over crap and just generally drive like ####!! When I pass anyone if I have room I always hug the far side of the lane. And I will never understand why drivers won't look ahead?! Alot look like they're making a last second decision and jerk the wheel instead of looking and planning ahead. As far as passing OS/OW loads I don't bother with the CB. I hang back a sec. Observe the situation. Am I fast enough to safely pass? Is there room in my lane once I get passed to complete the pass? Is there enough room for both vehicles for me to safely pass? I'm never in that big of a hurry that I can't hang out a second to make sure we get home without tearing #### up and nobody getting hurt! For people who might be lurking! Pay Attention and learn lane control and look ahead/ plan ahead!!!

I don’t remember what gears you’ve got but that’s my exact thinking. I’ve got 3:55’s on tall 24’s. Perfect gears for Texas. Lugging in Oklahoma unless I drop a half step.

???. Thought you was from the Buckeye ? Looks like they done expanded the borders quite a bit since I was up there then. When did y'all become next door neighbors to Union County South Kackalacky ? Union County is south of Spartanburg. I thought that would have made the papers or something. We just can't trust the media nowadays. Can't believe I never even heard a peep from them hornswagglers. Y'all trying to declare the Right of Imminent Domain on our Clemson Tigers ? I like it when the Buckeyes win the National Title but I think y'all are being a little too pushy trying to grab South Kackalacky territory like that.

I agree and same as you, 3:55 on 24.5 with a 18 speed. I like being able to let the good times roll if need be

I dont run many miles, especially last 2 months. But for my truck. 62,63 I can run 11/12th. Never have to drop a gear at that rpm. I dont lug them. Keep rpm up always unless loaded light or empty The only place I use 13th is empty or wanting to run over 70mph. Lower boost, Lower egts.

I'm low pro 24.5 3.58 and a 13. It will roll if and when I feel like it. But I will put lp 22.5 on tractor next set. 1 for weight, 2 because every else I have has lp22.5 and I wanna be able to finish steers out on trailer. Unless you are into Legal heavy haul or need ground clearance the tall rubber is pointless. Gear properly with lp22.5 will yield the best combo of it fits you operation. Casing credits are the highest, and lowest cost tire. I know that I will get opinions on this, certain from at least one. But I do my thing and I know it works and don't care about others opinions. I do a lot that most don't do. Its not how much you can make. Its how much you keep.
