This why my first post, like I always say. This works for me. @SAR I agree with ag work you need the ground clearence. For my pavment pounder I do not need it. And @snowman_w900 money is everything if your operating a business. I am a for profit trucking co. and fully believe in Profit any way I need to. From reducing expense, to raising Income. So when your hurt and laid up most of 2.5 months, I live the same. You cant out hustle wasted money. Its no different than trying to explain to a cheap freight hauler how dumb they are to cut the rate shipping war style. You only need to be 5 bucks cheaper in this game to get the load, not 500. Money left on the table. But they won't hear it and don't get it. I like to hustle and have maximum profit. I will waste my money on fun stuff. Now if I had welfare gas money I may be different. No not really. I dont see it as cheap, still by premium tires. I'm cost effective. I will drop coin in stuff most won't.

You have to use what you have. And like farmers premium tire are wasted money. Most of the time they will rot before worn out. But running tall rubber for road speed is the poorman's way of avoiding a gear change because the truck isnt spec. Ideally for there operation. I will spend the short term loss on money for a gear change vs. long term effect of running heavy tall tires at added costs over a long period. It will all cost you money either way. Just how you care to look at it.

A day this nice, I should be loaded and ####ing rolling. But no, their equipment failed during the cold snap, and instead of loading the guy who has to drive 1000+ km to get home, they are loading the ####ing ####### local ####s with the product they have left.

And of course, it's an auger problem, so they are "working on a fix" but I know what that means. That means if they can't ####ing fix it, I'm staying the ####ing weekend in Waterloo again.

I am NOT happy. They send me out not knowing if the potash customer can receive, because they were having auger problems too, only to find out after I'm unloaded that the place loading me is having issues.

WHY SEND THE LOAD OUT IF I COULD POTENTIALLY NOT BE LOADED UNTIL MONDAY!!!!???? I had plans this weekend. Getting back Saturday morning, not a problem.

Sometimes I get frustrated to the point of saying things I regret, so I'm staying off the phone with the office. I'm ####ing pissed and needed to vent. Sorry guys.

I'm glad to hear it. These low mount mirrors dictate a tall antenna with a tilt away from the cab. It sucks, but its a solution.

I'm sure theres some more fine tuning I could do but since it's not my truck I'm happy with this.

Understood. And again what works for you. I will not have old tires laying around. I keep one spare for drives and 2 for trailers. They fit all 3 trailers. If I need a steer Im buying Two. It all cost money, how do you wanna spend it. I dont run aluminum wheels because I like to polish. I run aluminum wheels for weight savings and that they are a more true round than steel.
