Just go off phone with wife. One of her coworkers parents were on their way to Florida in his new dodge dually pulling his and hers Harleys in a box trailer. They stopped at a motel for the night in North carolina. Woke up next morning stepped outside, gone not a trace of truck or bikes. Only had the truck 3 weeks.

Don’t think I’ll ever be too old to watch steam locomotive videos with the same enthusiasm I had as a kid...
Way cool, Six!Al. Roper, Feedman, catalinaflyer and 14 others Thank this. -
Ain't much I hate worse than a theif. I hope they catch the dirty SOBs.

I run Napa batteries in everything I have. Never a bit of trouble out of any cars or pickups. But the truck wouldn't hold a charge for three or four days sitting in my shop.
Uncle Pete would tell you it's because I don't work enough. But I suspected something else was wrong. As soon as I bypassed and removed the low voltage disconnect now it will stay charged. I'm not sure how those work but they must have been sucking power. -
The shop I used to manage sold interstates. I do not recall turning a single one in on warranty. Others all the time. The only failed battery I recall was in a AT&T bucket. They wouldn't pay for a deep cycle for rear battery. Keep burning batteries up. Drive finally let it slip he was running lift on DC back up all the time, because his Hydro hardly worked. Them guys were the laziest sob's. Run emergency power because you don't wanna take your truck in to shop. Finally caught up to the biggest offender. Running DC and stuck up in the boom on a 5° day and had to wait 30 minutes for us to get a service truck there to over ride it. Same guy that said checking his oil wasn't his job. More than once drain 3 quarts out of a 8.1l chevy. I wont touch Deka, Crown, Ever start.

I thought so too. We were in the building getting the speaking part of the tour when that beast rolled up. It sounded like a dragon in heat!

I never thought bad of Napa Batteries. All farmer buddys buy them. I would put them in customer cars/trucks if they didn't want to spend money on interstate. However there was a rule. No battery except Interstate was allowed in any of the wreckers Period. Go figure I buy a Napa Premium and it last 11 months.Feedman, 1951 ford, catalinaflyer and 11 others Thank this. -
There are little electronic devices that come with a key fob. Match it to your phone. Never activates until you move it without the key fob. Then, it alerts and pings your phone it’s location. Find the location and notify your bad friends. Done correctly, it should sound like a busy day in Beirut.

I saw something the other day about Union Pacific is almost done rebuilding 4014. They restore the old steam locomotives in Cheyenne. We watched it come through Evanston a few years ago being towed by a diesel electric locomotive. I'm looking forward to seeing it again.
