@SAR I'm at a different shop now, tried a test ECM with the same results.

Got marching orders for tomorrow. Running bales out to the same farm I went to a couple weeks ago in Wisconsin, then two picks of mouldings on the way back. About two days of driving and probably a half day of tarping/untarping. If I'm back Friday afternoon, I'll be very happy. Then it's holidays for a week!

Thanks. Makes me rethink using this little Carter pump I was gonna play with. Might have to just go ahead and start big.

I’m really not trying to make huge horsepower. Just tryin to get er to run smooth.

Both of our conveyors are broke down. A belt snapped on the one and the drive roller lost its padding to run the belt on the second one, so now we're using a 13" auger

Well, we tried a new ECM, tried a new atmospheric pressure sensor and a new timing sensor...all with no changes in how my truck acts.

The mechanic said he thinks it's timing related, but they are too busy to do anymore work on my truck so once again another shop swings and misses.

Have you tried wiggling wiring harnesses while it's running ?
Wouldn't it do it all the time if it was timing related?

The air temp sensor you can unplug and it won't cause what your experiencing. But your fan will stay on. The cam sensor will. I would look over the wiring going to it.

Random cutting out has to be electrical. Happened to my mom/stepdads Volvo, and I had it happen in a pickup years ago.

But I feel your pain, dpf sensor issues on my Prostar are causing it to derate. Lost power this morning with 47k of drill stem pipe on the trailer. SA to Pecos Tx took 9 1/2hrs.

Im sitting in Ft Stockton now to "check my eyelids for holes" before limping home in a few hrs. So we can fid the truck tomorrow.
