I wish I had a 1lw.....I'm still kicking myself for not buying a couple blocks when they were still cheap before everyone started building gliders.

@Logan76 if timing is off the only way to see is pin flywheel and take peanut cover off to see if the mark lines up with the mark on cover. It is easy to get those 40 pins off a little and not throw a code.

The puddle that was under my skiddy.... Haven't got that one figured out either. They are not fun to work on.

It's cold out there pushing snow with no cab...suppose to get a couple more inches tonight.

When I bought my flattop it had been overhauled at a cat shop before I bought it. It always had times when it just felt like you was tied to the dock. It seemed if I'd mess with my rpm's it would come out of it. Had other days it would smoke like crazy then come out of it. We ended up pulling the head at 400k for something that we really didn't need to but it took two of us to pry the cam gear off. Got to looking and all the cam bearings were shot.

Putting it back together we figured out they had never set the backlash and it was just floating.

I learned a long time ago if I was stumped on something I'd walk away from it. Back when I had a real job I used to freak managers out. Forty people standing around and tell em I'm going out for a smoke.....but usually when I came back in I had figured out what needed to be done.
