So you have an assist cylinder? A couple of our water trucks have that.
    I believe it.

I just dis like detroit, romulus, and Ann Arbor for football reasons. Special hatred for Ada, Exgirlfriend and family of crazies will do that.

If you load the axle up to the 18 you will feel the resistance having one box until you start moving.

I had that problem getting it moving too. But this particular truck became very unstable loaded at high speeds. Added the second box and problem dissapeared. Dont know why, but the first time no one wanted to drive the "brand new" truck kinda scary.

It's always easier to, and I also tell anyone, manoeuver while empty if you can. Makes all the difference in the world.
I hear ya on the same trucks, just different steering. Never stumbled across that myself for a straight up comparison either, so I can't help ya.
I understand, but sorry, I just don't know what to tell you. Would if I could, just can't.
Same, same. If you find out, please tell me, cause I don't know.
I'm a "last second, crank it to the stops to make the corner" long kinda guy as it is, so losing any turning radius would hurt.
