I thought they just messed up. I've never been a company driver. Do what you need to do.

Yea, I can't think of a creative way to move that without equipment.

    It's 17 pallets.

8 in the front in rows of four, 8 in the back in rows of 4. One in the center. I have the back edge of the "center" pallet aligned with the center of the trailer (center for weight distribution anyway). Why? 46k total weight. Figured putting it slightly forward would put this pretty much perfect weight on my drives.

Easiest way would be for them to pull the center one off and move it to the back. Figured 17 pallets 46k total that gives you roughly 3k weight per pallet. But since it's almost at the load center of the trailer I'm not sure if taking that token one off and moving it back would take enough off the drives.

    #### me i need to buy a portable scale or something.

Part of me wants to literally try just scale hoping it across the entire country. But I don't wanna deal with the hassle a ticket would bring for my future job opprtubities after big blue...

    #### me if I gotta go back there and have pull everything off and have them rework it...

    #### non-sliding fifth wheels.

Believe me. I would if I could. It's one thing in the woods. But I'm literally going coast to coast.

Can't even make it into Arizona without crossing a scale.

Over weight tickets don't affect CVSA. It's just a fine.

I guess you could unbolt the fifth wheel and move it forward (assuming you can handle the extra 500 on the steers)........never mind, I know that is not practical, but if the mounting wholes are evenly spaced it might be a good option to leave it there permanently.

Edit to add: I was just kidding...sort of.

Then don't go to Arizona. Although I bet there's two lane you can run. Or run with the vampires. Or is there chains on a headache rack/tarps/anything heavy you can move yourself to the back of the trailer?
