There was a time that a fellow that I know well used to utilize the dump valve that I..er he had on the spread axles to hide about 4,000 lbs. if done correctly.
    ### is grass though if they make you stop and back up. Some fellows even had a dump valve on their front drive axle to throw more weight on the steers.

I know, I'm a bad influence, but we sure had fun back then before full platform scales at the coops! This was in the late 80s early 90s.

I was literally just thinking about the headache rack...

By the way, before anybody gets their panties in a bunch over securement, we were onsite waiting to unload in the morning. Still have 2 chains on the front & the remaining strap to keep the tail under control while backing under the crane.

Antique almost. DDEC ll from 1993. As best I could tell it had never been rebuilt when I bought it. For some reason it got cylinder packs under warranty at 88k miles. Does anyone know if the parts are dated in some way? It would be interesting to find out if it was ever rebuilt. Another option would be to sell you a 5EK I bought to replace the Detroit with. Behind door number 3 we have an Acert core. Block, head, rotating assembly, front and rear covers, the intercooler with some parts. Maybe 2 turbos.
    No Cummins laying around.
