Well since I am physically feeling better Im working on loosing weight. 285lbs, year ago I was 255 and working out 3 days a week. Not huge weight loss but had gained muscle were I have not had in years. Series of injures and life I put the weight back on. I know weight loss can improve a lot of things, because I have done it.

Thank guys I will ask about A1C at next phyisical. I think my doc checks that, but I will ask. Lots more to learn on here than trucking. -

Highly unlikely they're (doctors) are ordering A1C unless you already have a history of blood sugar issues. The thing about diabetes issues is for the most part they can be corrected when caught early. I had to go to 3 doctors before I got one that would order the test. Turns out, I have type 2 diabetes.
