Dad had a 1964 Olds JetStar 88 convertible with a 394 in it that he bought new for around $4k.. What a boat that was, but boy I sure had some good times in high school in it.

Dad had a Jetstar with a 400 he bought to drive back and forth to the airbase. The gas tank rusted a hole in it and we'd got a rambler off my uncle that was like new so we drove the olds down to the junk ditch. Still ran like a top.

They had several different engines and changed fairly quickly. They had a 307 engine in some as well as the 305. It's not clear but I believe that the bore and stroke are different than the Chevy 307.

I have a general hatred of the government (ever since high school) and the way they are able to operate.
All one needs to do is objectively look at the freedoms that have been slowly stripped away from the citizens. The problem is, people chose their beliefs based on what they're told, not what they actually go research for themselves.

^^^^This right here!!!^^^^ I'm one of those that "Sees better than I hear." Maybe we should try the "doing vs talking" approach more often.
In my mind, it's not much different than dealing with a bully. He's going to keep bullying you, until you beat his ###.
Both examples use fear to get what they want. Once they have their victims scared, they not only have the power, but they keep it with very little work.
