Not my tarp job, was done by 5 people plus another driver with 3 Genie lifts. Just hoping the receiver will provide some help getting them off since the piece itself cannot be stepped/walked on. Should prove interesting when I get there. DJI_0181 (2).JPG DJI_0184 (2).JPG

Yes sir that would be cool to look at long forgotten records like that! Not many folks have the drive to keep that info now..... on paper.

I’m more of a originality type guy on most things, that’s why I would hate to cut the rear crossmember to install a newer automatic. I have a 4 speed Muncie laying in the shop for it. Engine has been on the stand for some years unfortunately..... 350 .040 over with a 2x4 intake with twin AFB’s, just to keep it more Oldskool.
First to get done is the CJ5 JEEP though, really like for my wife and her dad to enjoy it together before the reaper comes. He is 84 now. It was his dream until my wife’s mom died at her feet in 92, he lost her and his heart in the JEEP. But I hear an ember still burning when we talk about it.

When I was a kid I couldn't believe how they would get rid of classic stuff like that so easy. They thought I was nuts. Some things never change. I'm used to people having a different set of values, although that usually changes given enough time. An eon or three and people are gonna realize I was a Visionary.

There's another full bertha tarp set under the blue plus about 15 brand new sections of 3 piece sets used for padding/protection. Not to mention the dozen brand new 3 piece sections stacked up on the front of the trailer. They cleaned out Sharps inventory that day LOL. I guess the carbon fiber just cut the carpet and padding like it wasn't even there and the only thing they found that would kind of hold up is other tarps all folded.
