Yuck. Wonder if some real thick felt would’ve done the trick? I see some guys with long sheets of it, seemed to be a thicker material than the squares I have.
I keep a small 20 foot by 6 foot piece of tarp with some d-rings for padding. Can fold it or throw it over a load, like from Otis, and it covers enough of it to keep the actual tarps hole-free... the issue is it’s the same exact material as the tarp itself so if it gets cut the tarp is next...
Just don’t tell anyone how many tarps you ruined when it’s all said and done

I have 4 sisters, and 3 brothers, but grew up as an only kid with my great uncle and great aunt. Both born in 1918 I grew up in a older environment than kids my age. I was taught to rebuild and rebuild again until nothing was left to rebuild to lol.
These are the only 2 vehicles they ever bought new in there lives.
A 1973 Ford Maverick Grabber and a 1976 Chevy C20 2 wheel drive for a service truck. She sold the Maverick with 43,000 miles for $600. I about died lol.Al. Roper, cke, jamespmack and 22 others Thank this. -
As much as I hate doing the taking a picture of a picture thing..
Here's my '72. Picture taken roundabouts 1999 in front of a friends house. 350 Small Block with high compression heads/pistons, headers, 750cfm 4bbl carb. 2wd (duh, C-20 not K-20), but sitting on 33x12.50 AT tires. Had a muncie 4 speed in it when I got it, but I blew that f-er up. Went to do a burnout and, well, that ended poorly. Replaced the Muncie with a granny-lo 4 speed.. Man that truck would pull from the low end. 40 series Flowmasters, and a lead foot. Loud...loud...loud. Loved the way she sounded at idle with the lopey cam shaft.
Here's what she looks like, today..... Sitting out in front of the house of the friend it was sold to a few years ago.cke, peterbilt_2005, jamespmack and 23 others Thank this. -
"I" won't have ruined any, I'm just taking the last leg of the trip. The original driver and pilots have been on it for a month so I'm just playing relief pitcher on this one. Of course I'll be the one dropping off a couple dozen tarps to be repaired so I'll still get all the blame LOLcke, jamespmack, Feedman and 17 others Thank this.

The mods removed the link to a FUND RAISER? Is that some sorta joke?
What sorta ####ing ######## is that??? The man lost his life in a bad accident, others would like to make a kind gesture and donate to a fellow trucker's family that no doubt could use the funds to help pay bills and expenses now that the head of household is no longer gonna be there to raise his kids and this is the low life #### you do to a guy that got killed and left a family behind???
That's a new low for sure. ####ing ridiculous -
Yeah, that's what I was trying to say. Those were NOT a 307 Chevy means it was a Olds motor. Ridding comprnsion problem ?cke, jamespmack, Feedman and 10 others Thank this.
