If we are talking any car the top of my list would be an original body 41 Willys coupe. 392 He Mi gimme a Weiand blower pokin out the top of the hood, a rock crusher 4 gear on a narrowed 9 inch Ford with a spool. Magnesium slotted mags of course.
2nd would have to be the 32 Ford coupe. Stripped down bright yellow. -
Mine was a 3/4 ton long bed 4x4 4 speed. I think that the previous owner had transplanted a 307 in it because I don't believe that was an option, could be wrong though. It had headers on it......on a ranch pickup...…..I'll never do that again. They were constantly leaking, burning spark plug wires, and cracking. It ran pretty good for a little V8 though.

This right here is what I want. Same as I had when I was 16, same colors too. Although this one is nicer than the one I had, mine was still a 30 year old car then with less than 50,000 miles on it. All original in and out (well, till my dumb butt got ahold of it) 265, cast iron 2-speed powerglide, door locks, seat belts.... she was fancy.
Oughtta have my butt kicked for ever selling it. -
That’s what wire looms and drop-in gaskets are for.

Worst part about headers though is the heat effect on starters. Ask me how I know.cke, 1951 ford, jamespmack and 16 others Thank this. -
