I agree with many here, illegal entry should carry a consequence and if their conscience doesn't keep them out something else needs to be done. I can't fault people for trying to better their situation, but do it the right way. I worked with a guy who married a foreign lady and he said after watching all the work she went through to get her U.S. citizenship he has no compassion for those that think they can cross an imaginary line illegally and get the same benefits for nothing.
