As some of U may have seen yesterday, @Zeviander provided a Link to try to help the Family of a Co-worker that was killed while unloading his Trailer.
Unfortunately, due to TTR Policy the Link was removed which is understandable.
So to comply with Policy and also help the Family, how about we handle it this way. Quite a few of U have my Phone Number, if Ur interested in helping, please send me a Text and I'll send U the Link.
For those of U that don't have my number and would like to help, send me a PM with Ur Number and I'll send the Link on over to U via a Return Text.
Thanks in advance to Y'allcke, Al. Roper, peterbilt_2005 and 20 others Thank this. -
Technician/Mechanic = Potato/Potatoe in my opinion. Today's shops aren't worried about 50 year old technology in the least, they have trouble keeping up with current stuff that the OEM's churn out. Current engines/vehicles are so much more sophisticated than their predecessors in that multiple components talk to each other to produce the result from whatever input is provided. In my view, after having been to training @ MTU in Detroit, MI and hearing how the Germans run their shops we need to adapt how shops are ran to stay up with all the technology being pumped out and putting guys in place to communicate these changes that understands the vehicles inside & out. Having worked in the trade since 1991 and remembering when the 90% Cummins fleet I worked for showed up with 6 new Freightliners with S60's under the hood I have seen quite a revolution in that short time up to 2014 when I started driving. To me, it's to the point where you need specialists that concentrate on one system and let that guy master that instead of trying to keep up with everything on the truck because unfortunately it's only getting more complicated.

1951 Studebaker Pickup with your same set up. 392 hemi blower 4 speed and some meats tucked up under the rear. With some laughing gas for fun. But keep the outside as original as possible.
5 window chevy 454, 4 speed same set up. Sleeperish! -
Shooter, dad had 1 56 bel air 4door hardtop the same colors. That is the best combo they had hands down. No as popular as some. But the best.
Or not popular and is rare now. 67 vette marboro red, and saddle interior. One with the L88 427, 4 gear and sidepipes might win for me. I not a vette person, but I would be for that 67.
