Give me a heads up in time and we will go to the Trace Grill in Ridgeland. I’ve never had better bbq ribs, that’s a fact.

Go deliver a load and end up several pages behind in a hurry around here. I have one more load to take just north of Midland and then I think I might be done for a minute. Going to look for a step load heading toward home tomorrow.

Many will argu it’s always been that way.
And I’m sure many in this world think I’m just a dumb Redneck Hillbilly, and that is their right to do so it doesn’t bother me.
Want my opinion? To bad ya getting it anyway
. I’ve been in. the workforce a lot of years just as many other have. One thing that I have noticed is all the attention to better suspension for better ride and driver comfort. Better steering to make it easer on the driver. Better brakes with antilock brake setups so the driver doesn’t have to worry so much about “control”. In my opinion... all this “new technology” has given folks the idea this new breed of truck is going to do most of the work, so the driver can just get cozy and kick back. Do many forget that it’s still a 80,000 lb vehicle? And suddenly when that 4 wheeler wipes out in front of them, they learn it’s still a truck not a Cadillac? And then add in this new desire to toss the CB out the window and the problem actually multiplies with no communication other than their IPod of course. I’m not much with words, but hopefully you get the gist of what I’m saying
?

Well, they start with a pork spare rib that has plenty of meat. They cook it to where it is barely hanging on the bone, and they dress it in a sweet tangy sauce. They have been consistently perfectly cooked since I started eating there in 2006. Very juicy, never dry. I can’t think of any way to improve them.
Keep in mind I have eaten at some of those famous rib places in the mid south, and this place has them beat hands down. I don’t even know where they cook them, there isn’t a grill or smoker out back.cke, Al. Roper, jamespmack and 16 others Thank this. -

Thank you to everyone on here in number 5, you are all an indescribable source of information. The vast wealth of knowledge on here from everyone and the willingness to share has no price as long as you are willing to listen and soak it in. I've been following since 4 got shut down learning to help guide me on my future path to become an owner operator (hopefully in the over sized niche.) I am still a ways away from that day, and not even in a similar field but appreciate everything that is shared.
@blairandgretchen you truly are a stand up guy taking the time out of your life to talk to some young and dumb kid to steer him on the best path. Thank you again, and as you said, the knowledge on here can' t be beaten or bought. (How'd you put again, millions in knowledge?)
Everything from securement, to cars and hot rods, and even being a man @TripleSix it's all appreciated and I'm taking it in like a sponge.
Thank you again gentlemancke, Al. Roper, jamespmack and 22 others Thank this.
