Sittin around heard some lunch counter talk that CAT is testing an on road engine. Supposedly it's run 126k miles grossed at 80k lb. Fella says it's a 16l engine, is CARB compliant without DEF.

I cannot find anything online to verify this guys story. Anybody heard anything about it?

 

...they had a small engine out a little while ago that met CARB without DEF

My buddy in his 79 A model just got home today...... no A/C in the summer either.

 

This one is supposed to be new. Guy says they are looking to have it out for 2021 model year trucks. I think he's full of crap, but would like to be proven wrong.
