In case anyone's interested,I talked to my son today,he was in Curtis Bay Wednesday,and yes,that morphodite truck is still sitting at E&M's gate.

 

While that would normally be the procedure, they can get anyone to haul it at that rate. I wanna help them out, but its a lot of empty miles for 2 trailers. I might have to break it up over a few weeks.

Looks like they got a storm headed Across? maybe I’ll swing over to the house tonight and drop the paperwork and kick the cat? Then I can leave early morning and still grab a 34 down that way? Orrrrrrr....... maybe I’ll just leave Sunday?

I didn't understand that you were helping someone out. If it were a friend, I would just ask them to cover my fuel and I want 1 good steak dinner.

I've got a question for the O/O's, and anyone else who may have some knowledge about this.

Scenario: You're in town and need repair work. You come by the shop, I fix you up, bill you and send you on your way. Later, you want me to fill out and send you a W-9 form, or you send me a 1099 at the end of the year.

Question: Do you guys send tax forms to repair shops, or anybody else you pay for trucking expenses?

I'm not sure what, or if, I'm missing something. I don't send my vendors/suppliers any tax forms for the money I paid for their services or products. This year, I had one company send me a 1099 and another O/O's accountant want a W-9. This is all stuff I'm going to run past my accountant in a few weeks when I go in, I'm just curious about you fella's thoughts.
