    You can always spot a Cummins by the air compressor ticking when it’s building pressure. Even our newer trucks will do that.

    @SAR , you wanna hear a big power rattle machine, find an old 1693 CAT. They were a precom engine with dual overhead cams.

    Talk about knocking and clanking, if they WEREN'T sounding like a rod was coming out of the side, that ment something was WRONG, lol.

    Ask ol @wore out or @superhauler , they've heard those noisy suckers

    I remember the Valvoline colored J mar express trucks having that signature series 600 Cummins, they were hard to handle on 40 west lol

    That's about what it sounded like. Nothing against Cummins it's just I've never heard such a rattle before.

    Your right @wore out , but the N14 is standard with dual fuel lines.

    I was kinda thinking that but I had to ask. I was wondering what the fuel pressure is at cold idle and at warm

    The pressure side is teed to front and rear head, but the return just comes from the rear head.
