    The heads are bad about valve guides leaking. That’s what went out on mine. I think there is more to the story as well. Lack of oil, oil pump not set right(you have to use feeler gauges and dial indicators to set it), cams not timed right. All kinds of things a mechanic does want to claim responsibility for.

    Also the rockers and shafts need to be inspected. They have little oil journals that will get plugged with soot. That’s probably what happened. Or they put bad cams back in hoping they would last

    Rest area for all my LCTC. Minimal traffic from Elk all the way to Little Rock. Kept it wide open (haha) besides my 30 at the 161 Petro...

    Twas a good day. Even if it has been pissing rain since Memphis...
